Potholders

Last weekend, I had a little bit of time to sew, and I just realized that I didn't show the blog world what I made. On their recent trip to Texas, Mom and Dad brought me home a bunch of fabric. The one potholder is made out of some of that fabric, and the stripped one (It doesn't look like much, and might not seem like a big deal to you, but I did make up the pattern for that one.) is made from picnic blanket scraps. Yes, I know the blanket isn't finished yet, but these pieces were too small to use for that anyway. Things are too crazy around here to be taking out big projects to work on, so I'm sticking to the small ones until the wedding is over. I love how they turned out, and will probably only use them for setting things on, so I don't risk dipping them into food while taking things out of the oven. :)

Grilled Pizza

I've wanted to try this for a very long time, and finally got the chance tonight. If you care for the recipe, just comment so and I'll post it for you. There are a bunch of different versions, and I hope to try more in the future. I opted for chicken cooked in some Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and olive oil instead of pepperoni. I think it was a good choice.

What We Did Today

Today we canned blueberry pie filling and had a really pretty dinner. Sorry, this is a really boring post, but I thought the lighting on my dinner plate was really pretty.
