Sewing? Me?

I don’t know if any of you can believe it or not, but I actually sewed something. It was the first time that I followed a pattern by myself and only checked with Mom to make sure I was doing it correctly. Even though it was an easy pattern, I'm still proud of myself. Yesterday we stopped in at Jo-Ann's and now I have fabric and trim for another one. It is light green with a small pink floral design. I know that I make a lot of things for fictional children, but hopefully that won't always be the case.
