Potholders

Last weekend, I had a little bit of time to sew, and I just realized that I didn't show the blog world what I made. On their recent trip to Texas, Mom and Dad brought me home a bunch of fabric. The one potholder is made out of some of that fabric, and the stripped one (It doesn't look like much, and might not seem like a big deal to you, but I did make up the pattern for that one.) is made from picnic blanket scraps. Yes, I know the blanket isn't finished yet, but these pieces were too small to use for that anyway. Things are too crazy around here to be taking out big projects to work on, so I'm sticking to the small ones until the wedding is over. I love how they turned out, and will probably only use them for setting things on, so I don't risk dipping them into food while taking things out of the oven. :)

Dear, sweet Martha, will you marry me? I really cannot live the rest of my life without you, and truly believe that we were made for one another.

To love and to cherish you all my days, I promise. That and every other vow which will be made on our wedding day. :D

I love you, Martha. Will you be my wife?

Was that the way he proposed? Online? I have never heard of it being done that way before. :) Congrats Martha!!

No, he didn't do it online. He did it in person first. :)
