I was going to wait until I took another picture closer up, but since I'm not getting around to that, I decided to put this one up now. This is my bedroom and the new touches of yellow that have been recently added. Yellow is the perfect color for in there. I don't know why it took me so long to realize it. Inspired by Emma's fabric hoops on the wall in her guest room, I figured this would be a cheap way to add some touches of color to my own room. Someday I may expand it and add a few more as my fabric stash allows, but I'm happy with it for now. Oh, and I also made the pillow on the bed. It's just a simple 9-patch with linen on the back and outside edge. Throughout the day I find myself going to the bedroom to have another look. The reason I do so is because this is one of the few things we actually have up on our walls and it is just so thrilling to me.

Lovely bedroom! I would never have thought that fabric hoops on the wall would look good, but they do!
