My child is only 7 months old, but he already has a favorite color. Seriously folks it's true. When he was first starting solids he would get bored after the first couple of bites. If I switched to his red spoon he would eat and eat and eat. Below are his favorite toys. As you can see he is pretty easy to please. Since we've been sick the past week or so, I thought he needed some new red toys. I knitted up the bird, and also made the tabby red square. It has a wipes container inside to make it crinkle. When I first gave it to him, he loved it so much that he started shaking from delight.

Hannah was wishing for red high heeled shoes her whole childhood, and here YOU have little girl Mary Janes. Ha! Only a first child has a favorite color at seven months old. Nobody notices on child number two ....and so forth. Those pampered firstborns. And, by the way, I have now finished his red ball. So, Grandma has bought into the myth as well.
What myth?
The red square is very interesting! I have never seen a toy like that, but it looks like fun!
