There will be pictures up later on tonight, but since I haven't got enough courage to hook up the digital camera and transfer photos by myself, it'll have to wait until Alice or Naomi want to blog. I always freak out when Alice says that I should do it by myself this time. I know how to do it, but I feel that I may delete everything on the computer if I do it wrong, and if I should ever forget to double click that thingy in the corner and hit stop before the camera gets unplugged, something terrible is bound to happen.
Today has been long and productive even though it is only 5:30. The ice rings that we are making for the punch are taking WAY TOO LONG to freeze. You see, you can't simply throw in the lemon and lime slices and then fill it to the top with punch concentrate because then all the fruit will be floating on the top and that isn't the right place for it at all. I think they will be beautiful, but we don't even have one completely done. Never mind that we need to do 4 before we go to bed. :P
It was really hot here until about 10 minutes ago. Now is it thundering and raining really hard. The temperature has dropped drastically in a very short amount of time.
The family room, downstairs hallway, and staircase are now clean. It took us a long time, but we finally finished. A few more signs are in order, but that will have to wait until I am a little more tired and a bit sillier. (Don't worry. That won't be very long from now.) For me the hardest part about cleaning is that we all get so TIRED OF CLEANING right before we are done. This afternoon we had to put on and crank up the sound track to Sister Act 1 in order to get motivation to finish. :)
Right now there are three ironing boards set up in our living room. A friend is over here with her ironing board and has very graciously offered to iron tablecloths with us today. The amount of starch that is floating around in the air is enough to mess with our minds that were already losing valuable information due to overload. Well, back to work. I lost my list of what I had to do today, but unfortunately that doesn't mean I don't have any jobs to do. Check back later for pictures.
I want to make a new rule. The rule is "Wedding central is now closed and we will not be taking any more phone calls." Seriously, it is getting ridiculous! The rule especially applies to the Red Cross. It seem like they call once an hour. We don't pick it up because we know what they will say. We will tell them that we don't have time right now, and they will tell us that we should take time in order to (And I quote) "Save up to three lives with one donation." They are probably wondering what happened to Hannah and I because we used to be very faithful. Someone whose identity shall be protected suggested that we pick it up and say, "Donate your own stupid blood." We all yell it whenever they call now. I guess I might go back to doing donating again when all this wedding business is over and I have the time to be tired for a day. :)
Well, back to work.
