Us having way too much fun cleaning. Don't look at the rest of the house. It is only messy up to the tape and sign going into the next room. I must say that those sign things are really working. The only place people are leaving stuff is by the computer. Right now I see seven things that do not belong. Seriously people, we can do better then that.

The ice mold for the punch that is still under experimentation. We shall find out tomorrow if it worked or not. That dumb fruit just wouldnt stay where we put it. We have a new theory though. Dad says that there isnt enough water in the concentrate and that is why it isnt freezing solid and the limes and lemons float to the top. I know that you are all thinking we should have done this experimentation weeks ago, but we had no clue it was going to be this hard. :P

Today

There will be pictures up later on tonight, but since I haven't got enough courage to hook up the digital camera and transfer photos by myself, it'll have to wait until Alice or Naomi want to blog. I always freak out when Alice says that I should do it by myself this time. I know how to do it, but I feel that I may delete everything on the computer if I do it wrong, and if I should ever forget to double click that thingy in the corner and hit stop before the camera gets unplugged, something terrible is bound to happen.

Today has been long and productive even though it is only 5:30. The ice rings that we are making for the punch are taking WAY TOO LONG to freeze. You see, you can't simply throw in the lemon and lime slices and then fill it to the top with punch concentrate because then all the fruit will be floating on the top and that isn't the right place for it at all. I think they will be beautiful, but we don't even have one completely done. Never mind that we need to do 4 before we go to bed. :P

It was really hot here until about 10 minutes ago. Now is it thundering and raining really hard. The temperature has dropped drastically in a very short amount of time.
The family room, downstairs hallway, and staircase are now clean. It took us a long time, but we finally finished. A few more signs are in order, but that will have to wait until I am a little more tired and a bit sillier. (Don't worry. That won't be very long from now.) For me the hardest part about cleaning is that we all get so TIRED OF CLEANING right before we are done. This afternoon we had to put on and crank up the sound track to Sister Act 1 in order to get motivation to finish. :)

Right now there are three ironing boards set up in our living room. A friend is over here with her ironing board and has very graciously offered to iron tablecloths with us today. The amount of starch that is floating around in the air is enough to mess with our minds that were already losing valuable information due to overload. Well, back to work. I lost my list of what I had to do today, but unfortunately that doesn't mean I don't have any jobs to do. Check back later for pictures.

I want to make a new rule. The rule is "Wedding central is now closed and we will not be taking any more phone calls." Seriously, it is getting ridiculous! The rule especially applies to the Red Cross. It seem like they call once an hour. We don't pick it up because we know what they will say. We will tell them that we don't have time right now, and they will tell us that we should take time in order to (And I quote) "Save up to three lives with one donation." They are probably wondering what happened to Hannah and I because we used to be very faithful. Someone whose identity shall be protected suggested that we pick it up and say, "Donate your own stupid blood." We all yell it whenever they call now. I guess I might go back to doing donating again when all this wedding business is over and I have the time to be tired for a day. :)

Well, back to work.

It Does Happen

Because some people I know do not believe me when I tell them that Hannah takes my clothes I am going to relay the following conversation that we just had.

Hannah: Martha! Can I steal a shirt?

Martha: What shirt!?!

Hannah: That one in your closet.

Martha: What shirt?

Hannah: That white one with flowers that is in your closet.

Martha: I guess.

Are you shocked and appalled?

The fact that I take her clothes has absolutely nothing to do with anything. ;)

Sunday, Cleaning

Yesterday we spent all the time that we weren't ironing tablecloths CLEANING! We got a lot done too. I was even impressed with us. The cleaning department left signs and caution tape in every room that was scrubbed from top to bottom. There are several places off limits to the general population of the house, but they aren't listening very well. Maybe we need to start going through with our clearly stated punishments. This could be interesting. ;)

Here is Naomi and I scrubbing everything. Man, that room is clean! Posted by Picasa

We even cleaned out the placemat drawer. Posted by Picasa

I had just finished cleaning out all the dust and dirt from under the China cupboard, and this is what happened to my hair. :P Sorry that it is fuzzy. Posted by Picasa

Around the House Today

Here are some "Around the House" pictures for you. The ones that I didn't post are on Naomi's blog, so go and check them out when you are through visiting me. She posted the only good singing picture, so I didn't get to put one up. (No really, I'm not bitter.) I have this thing about not posting pictures that my sisters already did. I think the wedding is coming up faster then we can handle. One shouldn't think about that though, because then we go crazy and our heads start spinning. There is so much to be done between now and then. We will be posting quite a bit this week to show you all the hard work we are doing. HAHA!!! Don't worry about us though because we know a good trick. If we should ever forget which way us up, we'll just spit and see what way it goes. What a stupid and corny joke! I should get some sleep now, and any of you who thought that was funny should also.

Naomi, Alice, and I singing while we do the dishes. Naomi was singing, but I think she stopped for the picture. Tonight Alice and I don't stop our singing for anything.  Posted by Picasa

Dad painted in the other room while we played a quick game of Smear after dinner. Posted by Picasa

This is Naomi and I winning at Smear. They were 10 in the hole at one point! The best quote of the game was Alice commenting to Hannah on the fact that they were losing. She said, "You dig this hole and then you throw me in it with you." LOL We laughed so hard. Hannah always bids risky and tonight that strategy didn't work out so well.
