Joan told me she was taking me on a field trip last week, but wouldn't tell me where. We ended up at a really great yarn store where I bought this pattern. I just so happened to have some the right kind of yarn with me to make this sweater (Don't ask), so it turned out perfect. I had to buy a size 0 circular needle, and it quickly became my favorite. It took the place of my DPN size 1, and that is really saying something. I took it out of its package and sighed right out loud.
This is how far I am on the sweater. It's almost time for the sleeves.
My beautiful needle. Yeah, that is sort of sick.

Sublime. This may just turn out to be a masterpiece. It's also obvious you've got one fine instrument to perform the work with - the Stradivarius of circulars. ;)
That is a very cute sweater! Are you going to make the matching hat that is in the picture, too?
That is really cute! Do you remember when you taught me how to knit? (I do.) Right now I am making a scarf for maili but I am not very good. Lizzie Kiser can make puppets almost as good as Emily C. Have you ever made puppets?
Thanks, Darby! Yes, I have made puppets. Actually, I'm the one who got Emily C. making them. :)
What is your favorite one that you have made? I like the Peter Pan set have you seen those?
I guess my favorite one would be the lion I made. Yes, I have seen her Peter Pan puppets. Really cute!
