The Christmas Tree

We had a family meeting tonight. The only time all week that we had to put up the Christmas tree was the 25 minutes immediately following the family meeting. Dad and I removed the chair we displace when the holidays arrive and brought up the tree to put in its place. We have a fake tree. It is skinny. The last fake tree we had was fatter and I liked looking at that one a little better. This new one is still a nice tree though. (A lot less dusty.) Anyway, it is in three pieces and you fit them all together (Something like kurplink, kurplank, kurplunk.) and plug it in. Yeah, it comes with the lights already on it. Very convenient if you are in a hurry. Dad and Mom left for Bible study right after we got it all set up, and I spent the rest of the evening putting up the ornaments from years past. Naomi and Alice help for a while and got all of their ornaments put up. For those of you who love real trees you should look at the pictures below and see how we make it seem real. (I.E. the pine candle and the fake pine needles that fall when we put it up. There were even enough to vacuum!)
