Snowmen

I have been knitting wrist warmers like crazy this week working up to the next craft sale over Thanksgiving weekend, but somehow managed to get in a little bit of Christmas crafting. I followed the directions from the Martha Stewart Holiday Handmade Gifts magazine. Personally I think they are cuter in person. When in Jo-Ann Fabrics last week I almost bought that handy-dandy pom-pom maker, but opted not to. They turned out just fine without it. For the bigger pom-poms I wrapped the yarn around three fingers and the head pom-pom yarn went around two fingers. It was a really cheap project. A lot of ornaments can be made out of the one skein of Red Heart that I got for only $1.63. :) While taking these pictures outside the other day there were lots of birds watching me. They chickadees were getting really close to. I think they wanted to see. Maybe I should have left one of them out there for the birds to enjoy. ;)
