Baskin'

Anybody who has been on the internet today for more than 5 minutes knows that tonight was 31 cent night at Baskin' Robins. Meaning each scoop was only 31 cents! Since we are trying to be fun people we went. We first called Graham to see if he wanted to be a fun person too. I've had the flu from Saturday till last night really, so I only had a little bit of mine and took the rest home for tomorrow. They didn't have the best flavors left, but we still made out good.

Trying to pick out what we want
The line that went out door and to the street
My ice cream. You gotta love the pink spoons!

Here is Joel...happy to be married so he can be a fun person and do things like this. He looks happy, right?

LOL. I am jealous, I must admit.

Actually, Joel looks like he's thinking "I thought my wife was sick; why are we getting ice cream and why is she eating it?"

What a great post! I'm sure that Joel is happy to be a fun person as long as he's with you. Tell him that we'll have to start calling him "Iron Stomach Joel," since he's managed to keep from catching your bug. Love you!

I think Joel looks happy! I think he is thinking that he is glad he is with Martha and not Naomi. Naomi might have made him dress up like a cow for free food. I don't think anybody has to feel sorry for him. He knew this family a LONG time before he got in it. He's not suprised.

Are you inferring that I have to be married to be a fun person?:) ( does Olivia count as a spouse? Because we think we we're pretty fun together).

Okay, I'm totally not you spouse Anja!!! (I know about you big plan to try and sign us up as a "couple" for that conference so that we only have to pay for one person) uh, uh...not gonna happen. I totally think we are loads of fun together though ;)

Hey, dressing up as a cow was totally worth it!! We each got about $8 of free food! Even though we were the only ones doing it, and people kept asking us why we were dressed as cows, it was definitely worth it. And Joel would have done it, wouldn't you have, Joel? ;-)

Well, we did actually drive to a Baskin Robbins, and we did actually even park in the parking lot. But then we saw the line which did stretch and twist and reach and wind. That is when we decided we were not fun enough, and pulled out and went to Marble Slab. We think that standing in line for the Schertz BR experience is not quiiiite like standing in line for the Hollywood BR experience. We basically blame our lack of gumption on the discrepancies between Baskin Robbins, see.

We're guessing Graham went, then, unless you have learned to take iPhone pictures with your toes at eye level!

Hey! Isn't that my sweater?! Hey! (Emma)

LOL! Actually, they were very organized and fast. When you got in the door a lady asked you how many in your party and you stood there with her until a scooper person raised their hand to show they could help the next patrons. :) Also, they passed out a bunch of different free samples while we were in line to make it altogether pleasant. Oh, and Graham got there first, so we um...cut when we got there. :O

Oh, and...yeah it is your sweater, but it was on clearance more than half off. Can you blame me? I won't wear it around you.
